UDIG.de General terms and conditions (as of Sept. 2009)
§ 1
General scope
These terms and conditions apply for orders made in the sense of § 13 BGB through the online shop of Steffen Derdak e.K., An den Gildewiesen 8, 19258 Boizenburg, HRA-Nr. 2200, Amtsgericht (district court) Schwerin, UST ID Nr. DE 223108757.
§ 2
Offer – Offer documents
The range of goods are non-binding, the customer gives an obliging order with his order. The entry confirmation of the order follows immediately after sending the order. This order is not accepted automatically with the first confirmation e-mail. The order is accepted by the second (Auftragsbestätigung – acceptance of oder) e-mail or by the confirmation of dispatch e-mail within 1-3 days. We save your order data and send them to you along our general terms and conditions via e-mail. For safety reasons the actual order information can not be seen via internet. The general contract terms and conditions can be viewed here any time.
Udig.de is a certificated online shop and is obliged to the Trusted Shops standards.
§ 3
Prices – Payment conditions Germany
All products include VAT at German rate.
Abroad:
The indication of weight is listed at the description of the particular item. This information is calculated from the actual weight, the volume and transport packaging share.
Customs regulations
All articles of the delivery are listed by value and product type on the customs form for Non-EU packages. As the package reaches your country the customs and import conditions come into force. Further fees for the customs have to be paid by the purchaser. We do not have any influence on these fees and cannot predict them. The custom conditions vary considerably from country to country. For further and more detailed information please contact your local custom office.
Following possibilities of payment are available for the customer:
No. 1: Payment on delivery (C.O.D.)
The purchaser pays the amount directly to the carrier. The additional costs caused through this condition of an altitude at the moment
Germany: EUR 5,50 (C.O.D charge)
EU: EUR 16,10
Non-EU: EUR 19,00
is paid by the purchaser. C.O.D. deliveries are only possible to the following countries:
Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Denmark.
No. 2: Payment via debit entry / Money transfer in advance
The purchaser transfers the invoice total to the suppliers account. IMPORTANT: Please make sure to write down the purpose of the confirmation form. After credit entry, the goods will be send on the following weekday.
No. 3: Payment via automatic debit transfer (only in Germany)
The purchaser authorises the supplier for automatic debit transfer. After credit entry the goods will be send on the following weekday. ii Fees due to unauthorised re-debit entries or lacking account coverage are charged to the purchasers account. We reserve to double check residence, bank account and further data which are connected to the payment and if necessary not accept this way of payment. In case of non-acceptance you will receive an e-mail containing alternative ways of payment.
No. 4: Paymemt via credit card
We accept Visa and Master Card. In case of delivery capability the account will be charged with the amount at the day of delivery. In case of amount differences (eg. foreign orders or delivery problems) we charge the account with the correct amount manually.
§ 4
Delivery time
Traffic light system:
- shows green: the article is available in a quantity of retail trade.
If only reduced stock is available, we show you the remaining quantity on hand.
Items not or no longer available are taken from the order screen or cannot be ordered temporarily.
Articles, which do not show a traffic light, are marked with a manual delivery information.
Despite all intensive care provided in this online shop, we cannot exclude, that deficit stocks lead to wrong delivery information. We ask for your understanding that we can offer the traffic light function only as an information without obligation. All articles are in stock in retail trade amounts. In case of larger amounts, which are not in stock, you will receive a message!
§ 5
Packaging disposal costs.
All product and transport packaging as well as their components are marked with the Grüne Punkt (Green Dot) and can be disposed through the disposal system of the DSD.
§ 6
Right of withdrawal
You are allowed to withdraw the received items within two weeks without specification of reasons by sending the articles back to sender. The two weeks period starts at the earliest after receiving the articles and detailed return information as text. In order to maintain the reprieve please make sure to send back the purchased items in time to the following address:

Consequences of withdrawal
In case of an effective withdrawal the received performances on both sides have to be given back and if necessary to give back the received advantages (eg. interests). If you are not able to return in whole or in parts the received performances, you have to assure to give value compensation. This is not the case, if the change for worse of the article can be exclusively drawn back on its test, like it would have been possible in the shop. By the way: you can avoid the value compensation duty by NOT taking your stuff into use like an owner and by avoiding anything which affects the value. Please make sure to send the packages back in the original wrapping material on our danger. Items, which we cannot send or bulky articles will be picked up.
In case of a return consignment of the total amount up to 40 Euro, the costs of the returning parcel have to be paid by the purchaser (if the delivered articles correspond with the ordered ones). Otherwise the return of the parcels is free for you. Please make sure, that the returning delivery is always post paid, we refund the expenses. Bulky items will be picked up on our costs. The right of withdrawal does not exist anymore for products, which
- are specially made for the customer’s interest
- are especially made due to the customer’s requirement
- are due to the condition of the items are not suitable for returning
- expire very fast
- the expiring date already extended.
As well as
- Audio- and video tapes or software, if the delivered data seal has been broken
- newspapers, magazines and tabloids

Guarantee
The guarantee follows after the legal regulations. Information about possible additional guarantees from the producer can be quoted from the product documentary.
§ 8
Data protection
1. Survey, handling and usage of personalised data
You can visit our internet page without leaving any traces to your personal data. We simply save the access data of your internet service provider, the site which you used for visiting us or the name of the requested file. This information is exclusively used for the improvement of our offer. Personalised data are asked only if you are passing them to us in free will for your order, opening of a customer account or ordering our newsletter. Without a separate acceptance from your side we will not use your data for any other reason than carrying out your order. With the complete clearance of the contract and the complete payment your data will be deleted as long as you have not agreed on further usage of your data. When applying for our newsletter, your name and e-mail address will be used for advertising purposes only unless you withdraw your entry for the newsletter.
2. Passing on of customer data, validity
To handle and ship your order, we pass on your address data to the company taking care of the specific shipment. For the payment we give your payment data to the credit institute instructed with the payment. In case we need to make a payment in advance we protect our interests by requesting information about the creditworthiness at the Verband der Vereine Creditreform e.V., Hellersbergstraße 12, D-41460 Neuss (www.creditreform.de). Corresponding to the legal regulations your interests worth protecting will be respected. Data circulated to other third parties will not be made.
3. Cookies
No cookies are needed for purchasing from our online shop.
4. Data security
Your personalised data will be encoded via 128 bit SSL internet codification. We lock and secure our website and other systems with technical and organisational arrangements against loss, destruction, access, alteration or circulation of your data through unauthorised persons. The access to your customer account is only possible after entering your personal password. You should handle your access information always with care. Close the browser window when the communication with us is finished especially when using the computer with others.
5. Right of access to personal data
Due to the Federal data protection law (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz) you have the right to free information about your stored data at any time as well as the right to correct, lock or delete these data.
6. Withdrawal of acceptance
You might have agreed to the following acceptances in the course of the order. You may withdraw your acceptance at any time.
7. Opening of a customer account
I do agree to the storage of my personal data when opening a customer account (name, address, e-mail, telephone number and utilisation data: user name and password). In doing so I can log myself into the data base and order without entering my data again. I can delete my customer account at any time by deleting this account in the member area.
8. Accepting the e-mail advertisement
I do wish to obtain interesting offers via e-mail on a regular basis. My e-mail address will not be passed to other companies. This acceptance to use my e-mail address for advertising purposes can be with drawled at any time by following the link “unsubscribe” at the end of the newsletter. Or I can click on the option “no” in the member area.
§ 9
Venue:
the only venue for all claims in connection with the business relation is the residence of the seller, if the purchaser is a juridical person of public law or a public law special fortune.
