2007 RÖMERTOPF® celebrates its 40. birthday and looks proudly back to 40 years of “ideas for natural cooking” which has ever been the slogan of the brand.
RÖMERTOPF® has been presented and introduced on the international market for the very first time in 1967. Since that time RÖMERTOPF® stands for the fat free, natural and healthy cooking in a clay baker people who love to cook just cannot do without.
The brand name RÖMERTOPF® may be worldwide considered as the synonym for healthy cooking in a clay pot and even as the classic and genuine cookware made out of clay. Indeed RÖMERTOPF® is a registered brand-name, all over the world.
RÖMERTOPF® means literally “ROMAN Pot”. The Romans used clay cooking pots to cook poultry, meat or fish to succulent perfection.
With the RÖMERTOPF® Jubilee Edition a clay pot is launched for the first time which is sized between the classic clay bakers for 4 and 6 persons. The “Jubilee Clay Baker” is suitable for 4 – 6 persons in other words for a content of 3,5 kg. That is new and a real novelty.
Another thing that is new for a clay baker of this size: the lid is dimensioned that way that its edge is wider than that of the base so that the lid is to be lifted with both hands in the width as well as in the length. So the handling is much more easier and comfortable.
